This i...I didn't know you were hard of hearing! This is the first time I'm reading it on your blog, but that's fantastic that you have some people to relate to now! One of my friends has a brother who is deaf and she used to sign fluently. I think since he's gotten better with speaking she's forgotten a lot of it. I suppose it's like an language-- don't use it and you'll get rusty.<br /><br />Also, I think it's great that at my college we have an ASL class that actually counts for our program of liberal studies as a "foreign" language in the same vein as Spanish or French.
