in my last post i promised that i would pick some of my favorite looks from last nights golden globes. my choices are not in any particular order, just five of my favorite looks from the event. all pictures are from style.com.

the wickedly funny Tina Fay, in a rather simple yet elegant Cavalli dress. her speech was by far the best one of the night, i just loved it when she rubbed it in to everyone who disliked her. plus i love her on snl as Sarah Palin's double. she sure nailed down her character perfectly.

Rumer Willis, the daughter of Demi and Bruce, looks terribly elegant in this plum colored gown (wearing Reem Acra).

Amy Adams is wearing Ocsar de la Renta. looking beautiful as always.

Laura Linney Looks beautiful in her Elie Saab Haute Couture gown. it kinda makes me want to steal it from her and then attend some elaborate party (such as the presidential inauguration ball at the white house, which i wish i was attending). i'm also giving her a shout out because i love her in the film Driving Lessons, costarring Rupert Grint and HBO's John Adams.

Freida Pinto, looks stunning in her mustered colored Christian Lacroix Haute Couture dress. i really want to see slumdog millionaire, which she stars in, i've read rave reviews of the movie. plus it takes place in india, which i'm absolutely crazy about!
